Ex-Texas football WR Agiye Hall reportedly hasn’t joined UCF
Hall was initially slated to join the UCF Knights as a walk-on for the 2024 football season, a decision announced during the spring portal window.
He last played for the Longhorns in the 2022 season, having transferred from Alabama to Texas during the 2022 offseason after spending one year with the Crimson Tide.
Hall faced off-the-field issues at Texas, leading to multiple suspensions and his eventual departure from the program by the end of the 2022 regular season.
In 2022, Hall made one reception for seven yards during Texas’s Week 4 Big 12 game against Texas Tech, playing a total of 17 snaps over four games under head coach Steve Sarkisian.
Before transferring to Texas, Hall played his freshman season in 2021 with Alabama, recording four receptions for 72 yards, including two receptions for over 50 yards in the College Football Playoff against Georgia.
Texas concluded the 2022 season with an 8-5 (6-3 Big 12) record.
During the 2021 season, Alabama won the SEC Championship and defeated No. 4 Cincinnati in the College Football Playoff semifinal, but lost to Georgia 33-18 in the National Championship, finishing with a 13-2 (7-1 SEC) record.
